Seth Rachlin, CEO
Seth Rachlin is the CEO of Moore Stephens Business Solutions, providers of the Insurance
Analytic Framework (IAF) performance management solution. He comes to Moore Stephens
from a career building businesses that serve the operations and technology needs
of the insurance industry. As CEO of consulting firm Connect Systems, Inc., he ran
a number of significant systems projects that were critical to the reengineering
of business processes at clients such as MetLife, New York Life, Prudential, Liberty
Mutual, and One Beacon. Rachlin and his team built systems to automate customer
and investor outreach in association with four demutualizations (insurance IPO's)
and eight class action settlements. These systems managed the distribution of over
200 million pieces of mail as well as complex workflows involving over five billion
pages of documents. Upon the sale of Connect to a French public company in 2002,
Rachlin worked as a strategic technology advisor and consultant to senior industry
executives. He holds an undergraduate degree from Princeton University, multiple
graduate degrees from Columbia, and has published widely in academic, technical,
and popular journals.
Julie Olson, Senior Vice President, Client Services
Julie Olson serves as SVP of Client Services at Moore Stephens. She is responsible
for overall client satisfaction by managing project teams and overseeing new business
development strategies. Julie came to Moore Stephens in February 2007, as the VP
of Business Development, with 22 years in the insurance and insurance software industry.
Julie spent 10 years in underwriting, sales, and management with Farmers Insurance
Group and State Farm, followed by 12 years of consulting to commercial insurance
companies on various system and integration solutions, including in-depth experience
on policy administration solutions driven by ISO, NCCI, and state regulatory requirements.
Julie’s diverse background in insurance operations and sales, complemented by her
background in software consulting and project management, offers a unique and valuable
blend of skills for her clients and fosters continued success in delivering business
performance management solutions to the industry.
Anne Rocco, Senior Vice President, Technology & Operations
Anne Rocco is the Senior VP in charge of Technology & Operations for Moore Stephens
Business Solutions. She is based out of the New York office, where she is responsible
for the overall technical architecture and quality of solutions, as well as managing
the organization of technical consultant resources and the overall infrastructure
of the North American office. Rocco joined Moore Stephens in August 2006 from Metropolitan
Life Insurance, where she managed the team responsible for Enterprise Web Security
and Directory Infrastructure. Prior to that position she worked in the Enterprise
Architecture group where she was responsible for providing architecture leadership
and direction on a number of technologies and platforms throughout the organization.
Previous to MetLife, she worked in the consulting industry, where she held a variety
of positions, most notable as the application development practice manager that
was focused on the technical development and direction of the company. Her experience
has given her a broad vision into development practices and technology. She has
proven her ability to manage and build teams to deliver solutions.
Michael Maroccia, Controller
Michael Maroccia is the Controller for Moore Stephens Business Solutions. He is
based out of the New York office, where he is responsible for the financial management
of the company. Maroccia came to Moore Stephens in February 2009, with 15 years
in the consulting and software industry. Michael has held the senior financial management
role for domestic and international companies, most recently working for a software
company in NJ that specialized in report management and distribution for the healthcare
industry. He has also had hands-on consulting experience as a project manager and
senior business analyst for various projects with insurance companies. Some of the
projects that he had worked on included a migration from the existing general ledger
and accounting system to PeopleSoft and performing the requirements & cost analysis
for a design to build a General Agent Valuation system.
